How long did it take for you to get super excited?

I got my first bfp on the 10th and I was really happy, then really nervous and now I think I'm in a state of shock but also very very happy.

I don't think it has sunk in yet that I'm going to be a mummy. Hopefully after I go to the doctors this week it will sink in

I think because I'd had previous mc at 13 weeks, it didn't seem real until the heel of a foot was travelling across my abdomen in a lump like way. Probably around 24 weeks. Even then I was scared to move/do anything too physical let alone shop, in case something went wrong. We didn't tell anyone until 20 weeks. By which time I'd got used to sitting in people's houses with a cushion on my lap. I still didn't believe it when the baby was born. I'd had Pethidine. It was probably two days later when we got home with a screaming alien like creature. And even then we were still in disbelief. Got used to it now though (she's 10). Felt a bit of an imposter to start with though.
