Let's make a list of handy hints and things you've realised, partly for fun but hopefully we can help each other!
I'll start:
Today I realised that using a dog (poo) bag as my portable sick bag is insufficient both in size of the hole to aim into and volume it holds! Throwing up into such a small bag while driving to work without it going all over my clothes is HARD. I'm going to have to move on to a bigger size bag from now on. 
Despite what I first thought, it IS possible to learn to hold it in (most of the time) until reaching a toilet in work. They still haven't figured me out.
At least half the time I think I need to throw up, I just needed a big (sicky) burp type thing, and am learning to distinguish between the two feelings.
Juicy fruit is lovely and refreshing after a good vomit. Nectarines, plums, grapes, etc help - for about 5 minutes anyway.
Isn't pregnancy glorious?
