Hi
I have just joined mumsnet and we have just started trying for a baby. I am 32. I am feeling really nervous about morning sickness and it is all I can think about. I am not sure what I am expecting people to say but I wondered if anybody had any helpful advice?
Thanks
Rebecca

I wasn't very sick with my first pregnancy but have been with the second. I'm now 25 weeks and it is just normal for me now. If you are worried speak to your gp before ttc and then if you do feel sick ask for medication as early as possible. Also you can ask for antenatal mental health support that could help with managing the anxiety. Best of luck

I get bad morning sickness and can only liken it to the worst hangover ever. It's horrid. But you may well not get it. And to be honest I find the SPD and heart burn far worse. I don't enjoy being pregnant but it's worth it in the end

Hi Rebecca,

I know this post is a bit old but thought I'd reply. I've got emetophobia and pregnant with number 2. I was never sick with number 1 but felt ill. I did panic and worry though and am feeling the same with number 2! How is your ttc journey going x
