I still don't believe I'm pregnant. Only when I am at a scan it seems real.
So I haven't really been buying stuff yet because it's just too strange haha. I have made a small list though, so progress.
I'm 23 weeks and only have a few 3-6months clothes (a few relatives gave birth last year and have tons of newborn and 0-3 months for me)

It just seems like I'm not on track and everybody has bought a lot by this stage. I want to know what sort of things I should buy too.

Almost 32 weeks and nearly have everything we need. My hospital bag is nearly packed - just a few baby items to wash before putting them in. Still to get baby bedroom furniture but as baby will be in with us for a while we are in no rush for that.

30 weeks and have pretty much everything sorted apart from hospital bag. Ordered everything in one big go and had it delivered last week. Haven't bought much clothes but have everything for nursery, pram etc ...

I'm 29+4, and I don't have a thing. Not even thinking about it until the end of January when I start my maternity leave. Still can't quite believe it's real, so I don't want to tempt fate. Plus I was a ten month pregnancy, as were my sister and my mum, so I'm counting on the fact that the baby won't be early! Hmm

27 + 5 here and haven't bought anything yet. Tbh I don't think we'll be buying much before the wee one arrives - I guess a cot, a pram and some bits and pieces of clothing which we can then add to as we figure out what we actually need.

I am 22 weeks and we have a few random things which have been given to us, a Moses basket and stair gate. I ordered some clothes in the mothersale in size up to a month and we bought a bouncer chair as it was on a sale a few weeks before Christmas. We have chosen pram, car seat and furniture so we could see if they were in the sale. We will probably order them soon.

Nearly 22 weeks with number 2 and another girl so don't really need much. Bought a set of babygrows in Mothercare and one in Next in the sales so the new one has a couple of first outfits that aren't hand-me downs. Otherwise, we don't really need much. I ordered a new footmuff for the buggy from mamas and papas sale but that is really I guess for both now and later as I hate with a passion the one we have now.

Need a new cot mattress, some towels and grobags as we don't have the right tog for a newborn (winter vs summer baby) but otherwise we probably have enough without going mad. Although, I could spend a fortune on clothes if I let myself.

Shadow1986 · 28/12/2015 17:40

16 weeks and have bought nothing. Probably won't until about 25 weeks!

applesvpears · 28/12/2015 18:24

I am nearly 26 weeks and have bought a pack of bibs and that is it. I have been given a few clothing items and OH bought me a lovely musical bunny for her for Christmas. To be honest it's my first baby and I actually don't have a clue what I need to buy Confused so going to research that to make sure I have all the practical things I actually need and not waste money on stuff.

SaltySeaBird · 28/12/2015 18:30

27 weeks and nothing.

I have a 3 year old DD and have her old stuff in the loft but don't want to get it out until after the baby is born. I suspect we will get the car seat and Moses basket out a few weeks before the baby arrives though.

I was the same with DD - we had to go shopping on the way home from hospital as she had no clothes at all - the hospital lent us two outfits so we had something to dress her in ...

GiraffesAndButterflies · 28/12/2015 18:36

34 weeks and I have yet to retrieve newborn things from my parents' loft. So we technically have most of what's needed, but with the exception of a few babygros and a Moses basket (no linen or mattress for it) everything is an hour's drive away.

Over the last week I've got a bit worried about this and am planning to drag DH and DD on a trip soon to go fetch everything!

Littleoakhorn · 28/12/2015 18:45

32 weeks with DC2. I've bought a couple of velour sleepsuits as baby is due a month earlier than Dc1, a small teddy and I've knitted a cardigan. With DC1 at this point I think we had car seat, buggy, babybay, sleepyhead and some multi pack plain white vests and sleepsuits. It's all in the loft and I'll get dh to bring it down in a month.

I'm 24+5 and I've just bought a few cloth sets and 3 Muslins so far. Although o got some 'bump' presents from family at Christmas time... I got a teddy, a musical rabbit and a Radley babymel changing bag. I'm waiting for the baby sales which I've been told are usually Feb time to start before I buy bigger items.
