Even before being pregnant my bowel was pretty slow, regularly using meds to help things along a bit, GP wasn't all that helpful so just self managed with over the counter stuff.
Since being pregnant it's like I have no poop at all! I am pretty sure I am doing all the right things, good varied diet, plenty of fibre, loads of water, exercise, relaxed clothing but even still I feel so 'bunged up' and bloated. I went to the pharmacy and they suggested I tried lactulose which I have been taking twice a day for a week now....not seeing any drastic improvements other than it makes me pass wind 100 time more than before!
I've also got a jumbo box of fybogel but I never found that particularly useful before pregnancy so it's not helping much now.
Anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions?
