imao they were worth every penny...
each to there own though..

moondog · 14/12/2006 21:00

Indispensable (and I am not one for gadgets and things.)

I still have mine in the freezer-great for burns and bumps.

The closest thing to Nirvana you will find on earth - IMHO!

Gel pads that you put in the freezer, you put a disposable muslin 'sleeve' around it and pop in your pants. You chuck the muslin sleeve and just wash the gelpad when used and lob back in the freezer.

I had a lovely forceps delivery! When I came home I used to have a bath with Badedas in, dried my bits with a cool hairdryer, pants with a gelpad in and sat on a huge pile of cushions - bliss!

My gelpads have been used by me, my sis, and 2 good friends - we all had forceps deliveries. Normally, I would find this a bit eww - but it's not as you wash them and they have the disposable sleeves.

I had an emergency c-section with dd2 - so my gelpads weren't used. HTH

pedilia · 14/12/2006 21:25

I am being convinced here

i bought them before dd1 - didn't need them, used them as ice packs in bottle holders!
but after dd2 i would have paid £100 for them. absolutely brilliant.
fantastic if you have stitches or are swollen. get them! if you don't need them you'll be happy, if you need them you'll be happy you have them!
