So each week I find out the size of my baby in terms of fruit and veg. What size will your baby be on 25th December in terms of Christmas-themed things?

I reckon mine will be a Christmas cracker (22 weeks).

Who has a currant, a brussel sprout, a satsuma, a Terry's chocolate orange, a turkey crown or a full sized baby Jesus? Can we work out a suggestion for each week?

My app says a lemon (15weeks) any suggestions?

BabyBNumberThree · 17/12/2015 17:11

I'm due on 27th, so he'll be the size of a baby jesus lol

LucilleLeSueur · 17/12/2015 17:12

I'll be exactly 15 weeks - Terry's chocolate orange thank you very much!

KnitsBakesAndReads · 17/12/2015 17:16

I have the same app waxweasel. I normally have it on the vegetables or cute animals setting though so I must have missed the Yule log comparison. The puffin image this week freaked me out a bit too - I thought puffins were huge!

We're very nearly due date buddies, my due date is 5 April.

5madthings · 17/12/2015 17:18

Where is this app knits also due April 5th.

KnitsBakesAndReads · 17/12/2015 18:07

It's an app called Ovia Pregnancy. It's definitely available for iPhone and would guess you can get it for Android etc too.

Nice to have a due date buddy! Smile

frikadela01 · 17/12/2015 18:22

Thanks knitsbakesandreads (fab username by the way)
I've just downloaded that app. My little fig is apparently the sie of a lego minifgure. I love the hand comparison thing too.

katienana · 17/12/2015 18:27

21 weeks so Christmas cracker!

Cheesypop · 17/12/2015 18:30

35 weeks and the size of the entire nativity scene including donkey, innkeeper and numerous sheep.

WeeseKeysAreThese · 17/12/2015 18:37

24 weeks tomorrow and two Demi baguettes for me and feel like a frigging whale already

rallytog1 · 17/12/2015 19:20

34 weeks - I reckon it's the same as a boxing day ham

waxweasel · 17/12/2015 19:54

Glad everyone is enjoying the ovia app! Cute animals is my default setting too. But I agree - puffins are frigging huge! And definitely bigger than an aubergine?!

Paperblank · 17/12/2015 20:29

Mines the size of a turkey crown...a big one!!

29 weeks on Sunday [santa]

Youremywifenow · 17/12/2015 22:59

Will be 25 weeks here, probably a christmas pudding. On the fruit and veg scale I am a swede

Youremywifenow · 17/12/2015 23:00

Due 4th april here btw but they are cutting me open on the 29th march

Youremywifenow · 17/12/2015 23:02

Almost the same dates as my first one. I remember being pregnant at Christmas and stuffing the 9lb turkey and thinking how the fuck is something this huge supposed to come out of my vagina?

MistleToastyFingers · 20/12/2015 10:09

I'll be 38 weeks Christmas Eve, so baby is roughly turkey sized and I have the physique of a large snowman.

TattieHowkerz · 20/12/2015 10:43

5 weeks, so... an orange seed, or a clove? There aren't many tiny Christmas things!

docmcstuffins1 · 20/12/2015 13:34

I'm 29+2 (and frigging huge!) so probably the size of a Christmas ham (though feels more like a giant turkey!)

OwlinaTree · 20/12/2015 15:00

allinallGrin

delilabell · 20/12/2015 16:16

I'll be 20weeks which the app says is the first week of measuring from head to heal so it'll be 26cm....what would that be? A box of after eights??

jamtartandcustard · 20/12/2015 18:46

I think he/she will be the size of baby Jesus! Will be 41+4 on Xmas day if baby doesn't appear beforehand

gemsparkle84 · 21/12/2015 09:26

Ha ha love this thread. I'll be 30 weeks so I suppose a small Turkey crown? Smile

OiWithThePoodlesAlready · 21/12/2015 11:35

I'll be nearly 39 weeks so mine will be the size of Jesus Xmas Grin
