When did you start to show in your first pregnancy?

I've read that women start to show in their first pregnancy around week 12-14. I'm wondering what your experience was. When did you find you were showing and when did people start to notice?

I'm 11 weeks on Monday and have a visible bump. I'm wondering how much of it is wind (not felt particularly windy though!) I'm 5'7 and was 9st at my first midwife appointment. I've always had a bit of podge on my belly though, but now its firm under there.

Dress size 8-10, not until 32 weeks. By 8 months my tummy was the same as when I was a dress size 16-18!

OP try not to worry about when other people show and compare yourself to them etc. I see these threads a lot and for some reason most of the responses on them tend to be from women who have shown very early or very late. I'm 15 weeks and have body dysmorphia - several people have told me that because I'm slim and fairly tall with good abs I probably won't show until 20 weeks or more, so now I live in fear of showing before that in case people comment or I somehow feel like it's happened because I've overeaten and let myself down. I wish no one had said anything! Babies seem to make themselves known as and when they feel like it, and one thing that's certain is that they'll be in evidence one day! And probably all of a sudden. It seems to vary from woman to woman and if this thread shows us anything it's that body type etc. doesn't necessarily have a bearing on that. Enjoy your pregnancy, you'll show when you show. And I'll try to take my own advice as well! Smile

It was obvious about week 24-26 I would say. I do seem to carry quite small for some reason though.
