I am now 8.5 months pregnant with my 2nd and I don't think I will have anymore - I am enjoying the final few weeks despite getting bigger all the way and am thinking that this will be the last time I will ever be pregnant.....so I was thinking about the good things about it:

big cleavage!
non-greasy hair and only have to wash it every 5 days instead of every 2nd
good complexion - no need for foundation
hardly need to shave my legs (much lighter growth)

I think this does balance out the leg cramps, heartburn, tiredness etc....

Does anyone else feel like this?

Sleeping much better than normal, don't know how long that will last though - I'm only 16 weeks so far! I can remember finding it hard to get comfortable last time round after 6 months or so. Generally feeling calm and unstressed, and enjoying making Christmas cakes and puddings and generally being all domestic (when I get the time, that is).

Cons

Three months of feeling as if I'd been on a three-day bender (and wishing I had!).
Wind wind, more wind, noxious wind and a very unsympathetic DP (hates bodily functions).
Hearburn
Stretchmarks

Pros
Being able to wear a bikini!
Baby kicking
Small wardrobe and no clothing dilemmas!
Orgasms
Hair and nails
Always being given the comfy seat!

I loved the super-taster effect, really savouring good food, I would get a buzz from the flavours zinging round my palate for an hour after eating if the food was really good. I'm still waiting for that to kick in this time around, then it'll be straight to my favourite Thai restaurant......

Maternity trousers. I know most people hate them, but I think they are soooo comfy. Can't wait till I start showing so I can go buy some more.

Did no one else benefit from not having any body odor?

Surely I didn't just lose my sense of smell...

Have to agree with most of what has been said.

Nails - mine were absolutely fantastic during pg - grew incredibly long and never ever broke!

Hair - only had to wash it every other day rather than every day.

Tummy - didn't have to worry about whether it was sticking out or not - cos it always was

Maternity trousers - yes, very very comfy (but not jeans cos they were rubbish) - didn't want to stop wearing them after I had given birth

Spots - been plagued by spots all my life - cleared up miraculaously.

Good excuse to eat whatever I fancied without worrying about it.

However, like one of the other posters says - I am in post-pg hell now - 4 stone overweight, crappy hair, spots and a tummy that sticks out but no baby inside to excuse it!!

yes sleep finder no BO at all and hardly break sweat. My due date is 2 weeks away so countdown to being back to old self, with baby outside rather than in ;)

I usually get a migraine every 6 weeks or so - didn't have a single one throughout my pregnancy (and while bf)

My skin was always bad until I got pregnant and its been crystal clear ever sense.
