Where can I find a belly band?

Hi I am looking everywhere for a belly band. I've tried topshop after someone on Mumsnet suggested it, but there was nothing there, what other shop can I try?
I've tried online as well but as I'm going shopping this afternoon I could do with it today.
I've had enough with walking around with trousers falling off me as I have to leave them unfastnened.
Thanks girls!

You can get them for next to nothing on ebay. However, if you want one today why don't you make your own? - Just buy some elasticated fabric and sew the ends together. I used to use a thin, wide scarf aswell, wrapped it round a couple fo times and then tucked the ends in at the back under my top - worked just aswell.

Not sure where to buy them in shops but know you can get them here .

I found a cheap elastic belt from Top Shop, does the job, but obviously only any good if you have belt loops. Otherwise make your own - get a length of elastic and stich a button to it, job done!

i made my own

I bought mine from Next online for £4.99 and it has been a life saver, no more cold belly for me! Not sure if they stock them in the stores but they do have them online. Goodluck!

oops, stupid question, those belly bands you see on ebay, do they hold your trousers up? I can't button up mine anymore and I'm still not big enough for pg trousers...

SHHHHsantaiscoming · 08/12/2006 16:12

think next sell them online..

suwoo · 08/12/2006 16:24

Additions catalogue do them, they have a website too.

tidyjane · 08/12/2006 19:43

Thanks everyone, yes I was asking myself the same question about the e-bay ones as it doesn't say that they hold your trousers up in the item details.
The best you can do is ask the seller.

By the way it's "belly bands" I meant not "belly belt".
Belly bands cover the whole of your tummy and you can mix and match them to different pairs of trousers and they seem like a bril idea.

Do the NEXT ones hold your trousers up?

YES. I am v.glad to tell you that they do hold your trousers up
I am only 5ft tall and these under the bump maternity trousers just fall down.
The band has held them up admirably and saved me at least a small amount of dignity.

twickersmum · 09/12/2006 08:01

like this ? you can get them in button or "slide" versions (for skirts/trousers with those clip fasteners).

Hollyhormone · 09/12/2006 08:05

That one does not look like the one I have but is a fab idea.
Mine is a big jersey band that you just step into. Dosen't actually button into the trousers or anything but sits over the top. So much choice!

Hollyhormone · 09/12/2006 08:37

Tidyjane, should say that I have not used the Belly band with unfastened trousers. Only fastened maternity trousers which definitley do not stay up without it! HTH

twickersmum · 09/12/2006 08:51

i have a free P&P code for this: KF1ZZ140 if anyone is interested.

steffy1 · 09/12/2006 13:27
