12hrs of labour so far....

Contractions started at 4.30am this morning and Went to 6mins apart now back to 8mins! Feeling like 1 step forward and 2 back anyone else?

hopefull I had a 38 hour labour with DS1. I was sent home from hospital twice because I was only 3cm. I had to argue with them until they agreed to monitor me (and saw my contractions were really fecking strong!) If you feel you need to be in hospital, tell them.
Hopefully I'm writing this too late and you are squidging a newborn baby.

Another night of intense contractions leading to nothing! Did manage a few hours sleep though.
Surely this can't go on for much longer....

Hi everyone sorry haven't updated but here goes after 46hrs from first contraction I gave birth to a gorgeous baby boy yesterday morning at 2:26am weighing 8lb3oz!!
Turns out his head was turned side ways in my pelvic stopping him from pushing down! He's was a little bit of a cone head but absolutely stunning! thanks for all your support! Redhead I hope ur holding ur bundle of joy now!!

Waters went very early this morning so one way or another baby is coming today! The midwife took pity on my and gave me some decent painkillers so have managed a good sleep, she seamed to think it's lying in a funny position too which is why it's been so long/painful.

Oh god luck redhead. V exciting times

Beautiful baby girl born late Friday -she's perfect but we've been in hospital as I didn't want the let go of my placenta!!!
midwife thinks she was lying in a slightly off position which is why it took so long to start (and she has a cone head too!). When it actually got going the labour was pretty fast, which was a relief
