The reason I ask is because I'm just six weeks pregnant and no sign of it yet

Last two pregnancies ended in miscarriage at 12 weeks

On both I was very sick with morning sickness but can't remember what week the sickness started.

I was also very sick on my two pregnancies that did work out - until about 14 weeks.

I hated being sick - but at least if I was sick I'd have the feeling I really am pregnant. There's nothing to indicate I've had a miscarriage yet - no bleeding - but the two miscarriages where missed ones so who knows what's going on inside now.

I don't feel tired or sick - no symptoms at all - just no period and a positive pregnancy test.

Due to get a reassurance scan at the end of next week anyway.

my first I had nothing at all, think this pregnancy is pay back as I have been vomiting and nauseous since 4w I am 8 + 4 now and the nausea is subsiding a bit, certainly not vomiting as much as past few weeks, though I am still getting some waves of nausea.

Dont worry everyone is different, I wish you the best!

DS1, around 4-5 weeks I think.

DS2, 3 weeks. I kid you not. I'm now 38w pregnant and have been constantly sick.

I think as others have said, there's no norm :)

All of my pregnancies the sickness started at week 6. First 4 were mmc and sickness continued up until day of ERPC and for successful pregnancy it continued every day until about 23/24 weeks (including a few bursts of days where I couldn't even move).

Exactly 6 weeks.

Singingsands are the sexes of the DC different?

5 weeks and it hasn't stopped yet and i'm 14 weeks tomorrow... with DS1 it was similar and didn't top until he arrived at 40+4.... I think some people are just not that prone to it... I clearly am! :-) Hope it's all OK x

3 weeks and 5 days for nausea (I didn't know at the time but was nauseous and exhausted over that weekend - that's why I poas).
Actual vomiting started at 4 weeks, but not sure if that was the shock of the BFP! Have been nauseous ever since and vomited hard at least every few days, I've even bought sick bags for my commute!!
I am 6w3d now, and have lost 2.6kg since pre pregnancy!

5 and a half weeks with dd until 16 weeks.
5 weeks with this pregnancy. Hyperemesis both times.

Watching with interest. I'm 6+5 and have only had one morning and two evenings with mild nausea. All were when i was tired.

FireExitSquad · 09/10/2015 09:21

My 1st dd - sickness started at 3 weeks and vomiting continued until around 24 weeks.

With my ds1 and ds2, I felt a little sick from 3 weeks, but never vomited.

With dd2 (still pregnant with her!), my sickness started at 10 days or so and continued until week 14, when it tailed off. I did have a weird day at week 9 where i didn't feel sick at all and was sure I miscarried, but thankfully i hadn't. I still feel sick now and then but definitely better that it was before.

For me, the level of sickness depends on what sex the baby is. dd's make me have constant sicky feeling, whereas with the boys, its more sporadic and less intense. I think I havent been physically sick this time round with dd2 because I managed what I was eating better, knew what triggered the sickness and what to eat to make me feel better.

Good luck, hope it all goes well for you.

Not until about 9 weeks for me. My friend also had a miscarriage with her first at 16 weeks and felt very sick, but with the second she felt fine!

cth1982 · 09/10/2015 14:04

I didn't have any sickness (thank goodness) but nausea started at 8 weeks and tailed off at week 13 - everyone is different though so don't worry yourself too much ?(easier said than done!)

Bunnykins15 · 10/10/2015 10:38

Nausea started around 6 weeks I think, perhaps a little before. I HATE feeling sick, longstanding sufferer of travel sickness so I've found it really hard, even though I've only actually been sick once. I am taking cyclizine - not sure if it's helping or not as I do still feel sick, but too scared not to take it in case it is actually doing something!

This is my first pregnancy and I'm currently 10+1. Only other symptoms I've had are fatigue and sore boobs
