37 weeks, getting really intense movement - not sure if it's baby or braxton hicks but really intense followed by pulsating then really intense again. Should I be worried? Not sure if it's movement or what?!

Ring labour ward or assessment unit to get checked if they regular and your worried. Would you be able to time them for a better idea of whether they are full contractions or not xx

What do you mean by intense? Can you describe it more? Is it like hiccups or kicking or shuddering or rolling?

Any change in movement should be checked out and while most people know about reduced movements, the advice is identical for sudden increased movement.

The baby hasn't engaged and is pressing on a nerve or in a different position?

I've never had BH before but this is like someone kicking me in the stomach and my tummy raises up and goes tight, it doesn't hurt but very uncomfortable and happening lots. At the same time I'm getting jabs in the lower right and I can see my tummy moving lots. I think the pulsating might be hiccups but I'm just guessing. Mainly belly going very tight and uncomfortable on a regular basis. If it were contractions it would hurt wouldn't it? This just feels very uncomfortable but no pain

They've calmed down now, only really intense for 15 mins so must just be BH I think...

Sounds like baby moving and pressing up against the front of your stomach, but as everyone else has said, if you're the slightest bit concerned, call the assessment unit. Hope it's calmed down a bit today!
