A 'woo' moment from DS1??

DH just texted & said that he was talking to DS1 about 'being a big brother' (I'm 29wks) and apparently he stood up and said "Leo, Leo!"

Wtf?!Shock is this a woo moment??

We don't know the sex (although fully expecting a boy based on family history in this generation) but DH has added it to our list of possible names now.

Anyone else had similar 'woo' moments about baby before it was born??

How old is DS1? I'm disinclined to think he actually said "Leo", and if he did, that he was expressing a wish for a brother, not a prediction.

Ds called this baby 'she' from the get go. We had to keep saying 'or he.' Ds was adamant - even though he actually wanted a brother - that this was a 'she.'
I was quietly convinced this one was a girl too for some reason and indeed she is a she. But I suppose we had a 50% chance of being correct!

I'd be a bit pleasantly spooked out by it. What a lovely story to tell if you do in fact end up having a boy called Leo.
I do think little ones are tuned into things that we adults brush off, or are no longer sensitive to.
I'm not one to believe in wishy washy supernatural things, but there's definitely coincidences in life that can't be explained through rational thought. I had a vivid dream the day before my friend gave birth. She'd never ever mentioned names. I dreamt Ruth for a girl Luke for a boy.
Woke up to a text that she'd had a little girl called Ruth and my blood ran cold as it properly freaked me out!

From around 6 weeks DD2 (7) referred to me as pregnant. She's stopped mentioning it, but when I tell her in 3 or so weeks (around 20) I'm intrigued to know what she'll say.

When we had DS, DD (nearly three at the time) said when she saw him "handsome as a lion" - so he now has Leo as his middle name.

Definetly add it to the list! Leo or Leonie.

DS1 asked me a few times if I "had a baby in my tummy" before I took a test. It was positive, it was weird.

SurlyCue · 25/09/2015 20:39

Wtf?! is this a woo moment??

No

99percentchocolate · 25/09/2015 20:40

DD has been talking about the baby in mummy's tummy and how mummy's tummy is going to get big for weeks. I'm 6 weeks now and she doesn't know (or at least we haven't told her!)

I dreamt my baby was born premature and its skin came off. Didnt happen in the end. Confused

Fettuccinecarbonara · 25/09/2015 20:44

My dd was 4 when I got pregnant. At about 6-7 weeks pregnant, before we'd mentioned it, she turned to me one dinner time and said "I want a baby brother"

She was not a child who liked babies or wanted a sibling, nor had she heard us talk about it.

I had a baby boy. Though we declined her name choice of Sandy.

Snoozebox · 25/09/2015 21:01

Sandy Grin

I do think children are more tuned into their animal instincts than we are. They might be able to smell certain hormones for example. Though to be able to turn these senses and subconscious awareness into speech is the fascinating part.

Bellejournee · 26/09/2015 08:48

I'm not into woo...but my son was telling me there are two babies in my tummy, scan is in a week or so, so we'll see! Be very weird if it's true!
