If you had the choice which would you go for and why?

Evian I was induced after a previous section. I was also left to go overdue. Was considered unusual in both 7 years ago.

Evian, I was told that they didn't induce after a section and I laughed manically and mentally air punched because I would never have to experience that again.

When I was in labour with my second child and not progressing they actually then wanted to induce and I refused. So it seems there is some flexibility around the idea of induction after section.

Evian there is some balloon catheter induction they can do which has a lower risk but good point.

The risks to baby prior to 39 weeks are around breathing difficulties. I read about them in a book which presents the more positive side of c-sections but still looks at evidence and risk on both sides. Will try to find a link to it.

I had rupture of membranes and syntocin drip as a form of induction. This was only 19 months post section. The only form of induction my consultant wouldn't use post section was the prostin gel.

I was perfectly safe and monitored well during my induction. I ended in an emcs as my baby was just too big (10lb 2 with a head on the 99th centile, my surgeon post section examined me internally and said there was no chance of me having a natural birth with my pelvis size)

Induction; I've had two both have been fine with no need for instruments etc. One was gas and air and the second epidural; they're very keen for you to have an epidural with twins in case of complications.

1st pregnancy I'd choose induction

If that ended in c section I'd be c section all the way.

(I'm just lining up for my 3rd c section)
