Hi I am going to Disneyland Paris in November when I will be approx 20 weeks pregnant. Can anyone advise on what rides I will be able to do there? Any practical tips for managing it at that stage of pregnancy. Looking on the website it seems a lot of the rides I thought would be tame and I could do like Snow White are not allowed.

heavens i went to dlp vv recently when i was just 7w...much earlier than you but obviously wanting to be careful. if you read the advice/ride guide they basically say pregnant women shouldn't go on almost any ride, however this included v v tame rides ok for toddlers etc. i didn't go on any 'big thrills', anything v fast or rough, but did go on plenty of normal little rides...orbitron, buzz lightyear, carosel, pirates of the carribean, peter pan, haunted house, slinky dog, parachutes etc.

i guess main difference for you is that staff will probably be able to tell you're pregnant and so may refuse entry (?!) and on some rides the bar/strap might be uncomfortable.

enjoy!

have you ever been before? Snow white ride can jolt you about a bit when it's going round the corners. I've been disney 7 times so I can tell you if you can or can't haha. make sure you have a load to drink and try to buy it outside of the park as it's crazy expensive and wrap up warm. it's going to be cold, I went in November 2013 and wished I put more layers on. make sure you sit down when you can as it'd a long day and it will take it out of you.

I've never been to Disneyland Paris but have been to Disneyworld Florida.

Most of the rides say not suitable for expectant mothers except the ones that have static seats.

I'm travelling to Florida at 22 weeks and I'm not going to parks as just not worth it

Get a letter from your MW or doctor to say you are pregnant and it is unadvisable for you to stand for long periods of time. Then when you get to DLP go to City Hall (office right past entrance on left hand side) and show them your letter and you will get a pregnancy pass - it basically allows you and your family to queue jump every ride suitable for pregnant women, its fab!

Your family will still have to queue for rides they want to do that you can't.

Its called the Easy Access Pass

Have fun!

I will definitely enquire about that pass then. It sounds like that could be very useful. Thank you for that. It's a shame about the rides. Seems there is a lot I can't go on. I think my daughter might be quite disappointed but hopefully we will still have a lovely time there anyway.
