Yes, I am 28 weeks pg and am trying to fit in a lunchtime sleep every day at the moment. It's not always possible, but my ds sleeps for about an hour and a half after lunch, so I try to get to bed then.

I didn't have one yesterday and felt shattered by the evening.

No! And if I'd thought about it properly I wouldn't have got myself into this fine mess again I remember so fondly the days of my 1st pg when I if I felt tired I just slept ... My DCs are 4.5 & 2.5 and also wake up anytime from 5.30 am and then are on the rampage until 7pm ish. I try going to bed early but there's always SO much to do. I have put on a dvd in the afternoon and had a sneaky sofa kip occasionally. I'm 38 weeks pg and it has been really hard going but hopefully worth it ...

Good luck with yours

oooh yes, I only work a few days and week and when I do I work 10-6 so can´t nap but on all other days I have a 20minute nap at about 3pm. I have done this ever since I have lived in Spain and long before I became pregnant..long live siestas!

I am 31 weeks and finding it so hard to sleep at night..like others I wake aftre 1-2 hours to "swap sides" or to "go to the loo" or just wake because IM PREGNANT..!!!

I have a dd who is 18 months and she always has a nap for around 2 hours in the afternoon. Gives me chance to do the same. Did used to feel guilty BUT hey being a sahm is just as hard work!! Somedays I don't bother but I would say ove the weekdays I do so about 2/3 days..?? Other days I usually catch up with stuff.

God help us in Jan..!! .

I try to have a sleep in the afternoon. DS normally sleeps for up to 2 hours from 12 until 2 but for the last 2 weeks has been cutting this out! Not good timing at all. I've been hugging him watching TV over lunchtime when he's not sleeping and getting a rest for an hour that way.

Ooooh yes, I try to get one when I can (33 weeks pregnant)! And still go to bed by 10.30pm at the latest and sleep until 7am (sleep is very on and off though - turning over is a mammoth feat and I get up at least once for a wee). ds2 is 20 months and generally has 1.5 hours sleep after lunch, before we go on the school run - I thank my lucky stars for it, and don't know how I'd cope without my daytime nap!

In my dreams! Generally catch up at w/ends if possible and have found am sleeping for longer and longer when given the chance. Consequence is I'm doing barely anything during the day/evening now. (Am 37 weeks tomorrow - not that I'm counting or anything!) Ds (3)'ll follow me upstairs if I try and sneak if and shout "wake up mummy!" or shove building blocks or books up my nose until I give up. Am too bulky to get comfy enough to sleep anywhere except my bed so sofa & tv not an option - not that I'd be left in peace there anyway. Expect to be a zombie when ds2 arrives and I'm up 5 times in the night.
