Second time mums, how early did you start to show?

Any other mums who have found their bump with a second child has started to show really early? I got my much wanted BFP at the weekend and at first thought I was 5 weeks. I'm actually concerned about dates now as my previous two periods were a bit odd & I look now as I did at around 17 weeks with my son ???? I don't know if it's psychological but I feel huge already! With my last two periods, the first period was over a week late and lasted for 3 days. My last period was a week early and only lasted 48 hours. I'm not sure if I'm just showing extremely early because I never got my stomach muscles back after my son or if I could be closer to 12 weeks than the 5 weeks I first thought. I Annoyingly I can't get hold of the midwife at the moment to discuss it with her. Confused!!

It's probably just bloating. I noticed i bloated a hell of a lot more in this (my second) pregnancy than I did my previous one.

I did show a lot sooner this time. I was as big at 24 weeks in this pregnancy as I was at 34 weeks in my last. I think my bump became obvious at around 20 weeks or so. Before then i could have passed for eating one too many pies.

Ridiculously early this time around (number 2). I'm only 15+4 and have a very very obvious bump. Started showing from about 8 weeks! Hardly had anything at this stage with number 1!

I did start showing earlier 2nd pregnancy and also had a lot of bloating in the first 12 weeks. However, I think the only way to answer exactly how far along you are is to have an early scan. Might be worth booking in for a private one, if that's possible, rather than waiting on the NHS.
