Bugaboo bee3

Hi, I'm just starting to look at prams, like the look of the bugaboo bee3 has anyone else got this pram? Anyone used it with the cocoon rather than a carrycot?

Everyone around where I live seems to have this pram. I always think it looks like the baby would outgrow it pretty quickly. For that price I'd expect it to last a long while but babies always seem to be hanging out of them. I've gone for the uppababy vista. Haven't used it yet but it looks fab.

We have the Bee 2, and my ginormous nearly 3 year old is still in in.

It's a light, nippy workhorse!

We have a Bugaboo Bee and love it. V light, nippy and compact (folds small which is a help!).

We used it from birth with a cocoon and it was great. DS is 18m now and it's still going strong. Clever little sliding panels make it bigger when you need it.

We plan to keep it until DS no longer needs a pushchair then will likely flog it.

Would recommend (although the basket underneath isn't huge!).

Would highly recommend this pram.

Absolutely love mine, is expensive but worth every penny. We had the cocoon. It is light, nimble, easy to manoeuvre.
If you need to get on public transport you don't have to worry about it not squeezing on.

It grows fantastically well with child too. My 3 year old is still comfortably in it, so no need to waste more money on a stroller when baby/toddler gets heavy! Like we had to with dc1.
The only negative, initially we got the yellow hood, this reflected the sunlight, making it so bright. So be wary of light colours, We later bought a black one and that was perfect.

Ive bought this aswell thou i havent used it yet as i still have 7 weeks left. I also went for the cocoon over the carry cot as they do the same job for a lot less. It seemed the practical choice good for public transport and folds small in the boot for weekends away etc. i think the bee3 basket is a bit bigger than the bee plus from what the lady in john lewis was saying.

Is the bee any good in rougher terrain outside of city pavement? (parks, hills..)? I was looking at the buffalo and it looks a bit sturdier for outdoor walks...

Our 3 year old still fits as well. Bee it's definitely a city buggy. Great for buses, fitting in the boot, whizzing round shops, no good on rougher terrain, the wheels are little.
