Ok at 8 weeks I'm feeling low. Struggling to do or eat anything! I thought this could be a central store of tips for anyone on the queasy side of life!!
I know the things that work change every 5 mins, but it's always nice to have something else to try next time! Here's my list, feel free to comment or add to it!
Ginger beer
Mints, polos, chewing gum
Fizzy drinks, coke, orangeade
Bitter lemon
Ice lollies (it was line calippos, now lemonade lollies)
Lemon sherberts
Microwaveable chips with lots of salt.

I'm 18 weeks now and the nausea is finally over but I've completely put myself off all the 'cures' I tried - ginger, dry biscuits, ice cream... Can't stomach them now.
Has anyone else tried topical Magnesium? I read about it on an HG forum and found it did help me. Unfortunately it made me very itchy so the 20 minutes you're supposed to leave it on your skin for was torture - but the next day my nausea seemed to be much better. Could have just been timing though as I didn't resort to it until towards the end of my first trimester... not sure.

My midwife suggested avoiding as much sugar as possible because apparently the spikes and dips in blood sugar make it worse. She said with that in mind it's also worth restricting carbs and going for high protein.

I'm just literally eating the smallest amounts as being full makes me puke.

The aching and tiredness is a massive one!! Everywhere I go I just want to sit down!!

Restricting carbs?

Crikey.

I would be eating literally nothing.

I found on my first trimester in which I had terrible sickness - taking my pregnancy vitamin really early in the morning helped quite a lot.

Just to let you all know I ordered some 'preggie pop drops' from Amazon, and so far so good! It might just be because they're so sour, but fights nausea instantly! Worth a go!

Glad to know I'm not the only one in this sicky boat. I'm trying to eat healthily & sensibly but even the thought of food makes me feel sick. I think I'm hungry so dish up my dinner only to sit at the table & feel like I want to throw up. There's nothing that's appealing. Although I'm not being sick I'm struggling to get through the day. I'm constantly tired too, I feel like hiding under my desk at work for a nap - all the time. I've tried most of the previous suggestions but nothing seems to help - I can't stand anything ginger, even the smallest smell of it makes me vomit, even before my BFP.

I had hg this pregnancy and I found that coconut and coconut water helped me (I am a freak of nature though, I've had hg every pregnancy) it might be a bit too... Exotic a flavour for others x

Im 6 weeks pg and the nausea has just started today (groan). This is my second pg. I find flat lemonade helps, just sipping it periodically. Also rich tea biscuits and bananas. Very plain food basically. The nausea comes and goes and when its gone Im ravenous!!! Loving Mars ice-cream, cola and beetroot lol (not all at the same time) but they seem to help with the sickness. I also try and get a bit of fresh air, even if its just sitting outside the house for a bit. I'm yawning my head off at the moment too! Its not nice having nausea or sickness but just remember its ONE of the many signs of a healthy pregnancy and will be soooo worth it :) x
