So, I'm currently 34+1. I am at work for another 3 weeks before I start mat leave. I work in a University so, at the moment, things are V-E-R-Y quiet; all of the students have buggered off home and I'm not involved with exams/resits/marking any of that malarkey. July & August are always absolutely dead for my team so most people go off on hols. I've been a bit too keen and already done all of my handover stuff (whilst my brain was still vaguely active!), cleared out my inbox, done a load of filing/housekeeping. I've literally run out of things to do and there aren't any suitable new projects I can pick up so close to going on leave as they'll all be longer-term ones. I've even emailed out to other team leaders, etc. to see if there's anything that anyone needs done and there's nothing. It's like everyone thinks I should be taking it easy! But I don't want to start mat leave any earlier, because I want to have as much as poss once baby is here.
I DO want to use the next few weeks vaguely 'constructively'
though. Can anyone recommend any good videos/websites/blogs/online resources, etc. which I could use to get prepared for the birth & early stages? This will be my first baby. I have access to Netflix, YouTube, internet (obvs), Spotify...and a very accommodating boss; in fact, it was partly her suggestion!
TIA
