To give birth in?

Saw an ad for a 'birthing shirt' the other day, not buying one as it was £40 for something I presumably will never wear again. But what did you wear/are you planning to wear?

I do realise it's not a fashion show - I am just curious!!

An old T-shirt of DH's, bikini top while in the pool.

I had a sleep bra on when I was in the birthing pool, but I got out because I was hot and bothered and took it off, so I was completely starkers for the birth and didn't even think about it as was concentrating on pushing :)

I wouldn't have been able to bear anything on my skin anyway at that point, my hair was peeing me off enenouenough as I hadn't tied it back properly.

first was in a t shirt that I had been wearing that day, baby came too quick for me to change.

second I was induced so bought a button up front nightie so I could do skin to skin straight away.

A long t-shirt... and stripey socks. I could probably have taken those off, to be fair.
