Baby bouncer/swing/lounger help?!

My aunty would like to buy me a bouncer or swing of some sort for my baby that's due in a few weeks. The thing is is that I've no idea what to go for.

She has seen the graco little lounger today but my only concern with that is that the baby will get used to the vibrations and rocking motions and won't settle anywhere else.

I would like to use whatever I get for the baby to nap in downstairs as I don't really have room for a moses basket and stand etc so would like for it to fold away when not in use also.

Am I best with just a bog standard bouncer that I rock myself or is there anything anyone would specifically recommend? Budget is probably about £80.

Mine loved Babybjörn - it bounces when baby moves. It's also small and foldable, and can be used for naps too.

Get the mamas and papas sway rocker. It lies totally flat so baby can nap in it without being scrunched up and it doesn't rock/vibrate unless you turn that on. It also folds totally flat if you don't have much space you can slide in under the sofa if you're not using it. DS basically lived in it for the first 6 months.

We love the baby bjorn, got a great one second hand and it's just the right shape to use as a foot rest whilst bouncing :)

We've got one (I picked it up at an Nct nearly new sale for £25). I wanted it mainly because all the others are so twee and fugly, but it's great. My daughter is six months and still loves it. She wasn't keen initially, until she was maybe 4 or 5 weeks old, maybe because it's not as cocoon-like as some of the others. I used to pad it out with a soft blanket when she was tiny, which helped.

It's nice and light and folds almost completely flat, so handy to take to grandma's house too.

Oh, and they hold value pretty well and go on eBay for around £40-50, even pretty old ones.

Definitely baby bjorn. You can chose to have it upright or reclined. Perfect weapon for 5pm when the baby gets fractious and can't sleep. you can rock it using your foot while watching tv and drinking tv. No baby seems to be able to resist the movement. I am pregnant with baby no 2 due in 6 weeks and will definitely be buying one. Stupidly sold my first one...
