As the title states, I'm really suffering from sacroiliac joint pain. I'd try exercise but I can't even get to the point of doing an exercise before I keel over. I'd rather not take any meds. Wondering if there are any tried and tested miracle manoeuvres anyone can suggest.

I suffered terribly with DS2 for weeks and weeks, then ended up cured at 38 weeks when I caught an awful bug and spent 3 days in bed/ resting. Is there anyway you can get off your feet for a day or two? I Hadn't even been walking far or for long but it was agony, if I'd known a couple of days rest would help I'd have carved out the time much sooner.

Check out the pelvic partnership website for some practical suggestions and ask for a physiotherapy referral from your GP if you haven't done so already or some people recommend seeing a chiropractor. Good luck Smile

I saw a cranial osteopath for this in one pregnancy and found it helped.

I saw a chiropractor for this, and turns out my si joint was actually severely displaced. He put it back in, which hurt, but the intense agonising pain disappeared and left an ache which decreased over the following couple of weeks. Unfortunately, it now has a tendency to displace, but is easily realigned by a chiropractor or even a physio.

Mine seemed to get miles better one day when I sat at an awkward angle and crunch ! I actually felt it move. It was sickeningly painful but better by miles afterwards. So I suggest seeing a physio who can manipulate you a little!

Since then I've been doing some excercises (big ball, pelvic floor, Pilates) and not being on my feet as much. I also got a pregnancy pillow and that helped too. I have a belt but I don't feel it helps much.

An osteopath helped me immensely. Also sleep with a pillow between your knees.

Spinal fusion victim here! I suffer with SI joint dysfunction on a normal day, let alone when pregnant.

This has been my saviour! Wrap it around yourself, one leg over at night.

Try not to stay sitting for too long, swim if you can and remember your posture as much as possible!

I've found the combination of a chiropractor and an SI belt have helped
