Baby blankets - dryer???

Silly question I know..... Don't ask a silly question if you don't want a silly answer.....

I am finally starting to wash all baby clothes & blankets, sheets etc, but am wondering if it's ok to put the blankets & sheets in the dryer after?
I won't put clothes in as know there is a risk of shrinkage and they dry well out on the rack anyway.

I always use the dryer for our bedding, sheets & towels as they dry ALOT softer.... But I am actually taking note of the washing labels on baby's stuff and noticed all the blankets are saying do not tumble dry.

Should I listen? And let them dry naturally? I just don't want them to feel as bad as they do pre washed - obviously once washed they are a lot softer and don't want natural dry to ruin that etc!!

Any advice much appreciated!

Lou

I think you should follow the advice on the look label.

Check the label.. Should tell you. Generally sheets can be dried in a tumble dryer. But I'm not sure on blankets. Depends on the material really..

Why not dry on a rack then put in tumble dryer for 10 mins to fluff and soften them? Shouldn't shrink that way as they will be dry.
