Hi

This is my first pregnancy and I'm worried about what to do....I've taken 3 pregnancy tests that are all positive and say I conceived 2-3weeks ago which apparently means I'm 4-5 weeks pregnant.
I've taken due date caulater and it was I'm due around the 21st of January 2016 and I'm 4 weeks pregnant...but on the NHS site is says I would miss my period at 5 weeks but I've already missed it.

I don't know if it's me just worrying about nothing or what.

Your pregnacy is calculated from the first date of your last periods. So if you have a 28 day cycle and your period was due today you would be four weeks pregnant, even though you probably concieved 2 weeks ago.

The pregnancy tests that tell you when you concieved are not reliable for dates.

And congratulations.

My period was due in the 10th

What was the first day of your last period? How long are your cycles?

XxxNewtsxxX · 17/05/2015 13:40

They are regular every month on the 10th and last about 6 days they are never late

I don't know why the nhs site goes on about missing your period at 5 weeks. If you are seriously ttc and tracking your cycles then you know you're a day late never mind only thinking you might be preg a week late!

So yes if your digi says preg 2-3, you are 4-5 weeks preg. Congratulations! You need to call your GP tomorrow and they might need to see you or they might not but the pregnancy needs to go on your records. The GP will tell you how to contact the midwife team yourself or they might do it on your behalf. Your first midwife appointment should be when you are about 8-10 weeks. Yes it feels like a lifetime away! If you need extra support from ladies who are in the same boat, pop over and join the January Antenatal group :-)

Lol I know the feeling hun! I can't believe it either! I'm 9 weeks today with my first and I am seeing the midwife for the first time tomorrow morning! We booked an early scan privately because we couldn't wait until 12 weeks to make sure there was something in there! I don't think I will truely believe it until I get a bump :-)

XxxNewtsxxX · 17/05/2015 13:59

Awwww congratulations and good luck tomorrow :) I don't think I'll believe it until I have a scan either lol

Pregnancy buddy! I'm due with my first on 13th Jan :) so so happy!
I found out my due date by counting from the first day of the last period I had - that was confirmed on NHS and other website calculators/apps.
Not feeling much more than cramps and sore boobs at the moment, long may it continue haha!

XxxNewtsxxX · 17/05/2015 21:21

Yay! Lol I haven't had anything other than cramps and sore boobs as well I don't really feel pregnant...got a doctors appointment tomorrow to confirm it ?
