Hi,
I'm 21 and this is my first pregnancy, up until the start of this week I've not even felt pregnant, other than the sore boobs.

Since Thursday 14th early morning time I haven't been able to stop being sick,

I've tried everything, dry toast, bread sticks and my boyfriend googled what should ease this off so went to the shop and got anything with ginger in it. Still nothing helped.

I can't even keep water down I try sipping it little and often like I was told when I called 111.

I literally can't cope with this for much longer, this is supposed to be a happy time but instead it's the most miserable I've ever felt.
Not slept or been able to keep even a sip of water down for 3 days now.

I'm out of ideas,
Can someone please help me, I'm desperate?

Thank you in advance.

OP it sounds like you may have hyperemesis gravidarum (which is what Kate Middleton has had with both her pregnancies). It can be quite serious if you become very dehydrated and if you literally cannot keep water down then you may need to be put on a drip. I would ring NHS 101 now and ask for advice, because you may need to be admitted to hospital to get yourself re-hydrated. Don't wait until you're losing consciousness - if you feel absolutely awful get referred now - or just go to A&E if you're feeling desperate. The advantage to going through NHS 101 is that they can refer you and the hospital will then be expecting you when you arrive.

Get yourself to your out of hours GP or walk in centre since it's the weekend. You may have hyperemesis (see the support thread, they are lovely).
You need to be checked for dehydration if you really can't keep anything down. Be persistant- some GPs just think it's normal morning sickness but there are medicines available to stop you being sick!
Take care and congratulations. Don't ?orry - I had hyperemesis- you learn to cope with the help of tablets and learning when to rest/eat etc.

Forget OOH you need to go to A&E now. If you haven't managed to keep down fluids for three days as well as constant vomiting you will be extremely dehydrated and need IV fluids.

Honestly you have no chance of feeling better unless you go to hospital and get rehydrated. I say this as a second time HG sufferer. Once I am at the point you are IV is my only hope. I am usually triaged and treated in A&E within minutes of walking through the door no matter how busy they are which indicates just how seriously they take dehydration.

Go now and take some overnight things just in case. It will take around 3 hours just to have 2litres so you may have to stay over night.

Sounds like hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), you need to get properly assessed and treated before it gets any worse. Go to your Early Pregnancy Unit and ask to be seen right away, or go straight to A+E if EPU is closed. Dehydration is dangerous for you and the baby. In meantime try sucking ice-cubes or ice-lollies to try and get some fluids down.

I have HG, at 5weeks I was admitted via A+E and monitored as in-patient for few days, given IV fluids and medication to ease symptoms. Please don't suffer with this, you need professional help and treatment.
