Hi, I'm after some advice! After 2 years of trying I'm finally expecting & over the moon. I'm only 3-4 weeks so very early days and have no symptoms yet other than absolutely no appetite, I don't feel sick but just don't want to eat anything which is resulting in me feeling quite dizzy & light headed, has anyone else experienced this & should I be worried? Any tips would be appreciated x

I had this, I just tried to force myself to eat high energy foods little and often like fruit. It soon passed. Congratulations!! Xx

Thanks so much! I'm back at work tomorrow so I think I'm just going to keep some grapes & crackers or something on my desk & keep nibbling on those, it's completely unlike me to be off food lol. Thanks for your help xx

Low blood pressure is very common in early pregnancy, that could be causing your dizziness. I suffered a lot with it until about 10 weeks, it's nothing to worry about. Stand up slowly & get out of bed in stages! I always had an emergency salty snack with me as I found it helped.

Could also be low Iron. Eating iron rich foods when you do feel hungry can help, and a glass of orange juice to help your body absorb the iron. Spatone is a good iron supplement and gentle on the stomach, can get it from boots and health shops :)

Had this too- dr said blood volume increases so BP can be low and hormones increasing can make it worse too but it will settle.
Ensure iron rich foods Abd look towards low GI carbs (brown pasta and rice, etc- eating low GI foods compared to high GI quick release foods was explained to me like starting a fire with firewood vs a fire with paper - you want the long slow burn for even energy release. Also it's important for you and baby to regulate your insulin release.
Do ensure you re hydrated and drinking plenty too as it ll help with the fluid volume your body needs.
