Maintaining a healthy weight - exercise and diet tips?

I'm only a couple of weeks but I'm anxious about not putting on excessive weight as I was huge on dc1.
I'm already about half a stone to a stone over my comfortable size. My problem area is tummy and thighs.
What kind of exercise is safe? I've got the shred and t25 dvds

I'm usually pretty good with cutting out white bread, pasta etc but lately I've been craving it (not pregnany related I think it's more stress as had a lot going on)
I don't want to 'diet' but also don't want to eat more than I really need?

I love my classes and the gym but the past few weeks have been bad with nausea so can't face going so I'm going to start swimming.

Im also trying to maintain a healthy weight during my pregnancy, im 14 weeks and have put on about 2kg so far but can feel my thighs getting wobblier!!

I am in France where they are super strict about weight gain and if I put on too much i'll get sent to the nutritionist!

I have been making big batches of soup to have for lunch and am trying (now the sickness is a little better) to avoid white bread, crisps and pasta etc. Trying to only snack on fruit or things like a slice of ham.

I have been trying to walk a lot but with a 2 year old in tow I cant exactly call it exercise! I think im going to go for a swim on the two days she is in childcare from now on.

Ive also been trying to follow some pregnancy yoga videos on youtube.

Yes generally it's fine to carry on with your current exercise. I have only seen bits and pieces of T25, but I believe they have some easy, low impact options too? Weights are really good, as there's no jumping around that will become uncomfortable when bump grows, I do a lot of Bodypump.

It's mostly about eating though. Just try to eat normally, if your diet is generally good - and not for two. Can always use Myfitnesspal or similar to track calories if you're worried about getting too many of them.

I also gained a bit more than necessary with DC1, so have been holding back (not massively, just not stuffing my face) with DC2. So far have gained about half what I did with the first pregnancy, and have to say it makes quite a difference. So can certainly recommend keeping an eye on the weight gain.

I'm doing spin classes, they are the only thing that distracts me from the nausea. As far as eating, I'm massively craving carbs so I'm just going with it.

I walk everyday with my dogs, yoga a few times a week & going to start swimming soon as I can drum up the energy to go before work. Next week I'll be canoeing most days & hoping to do that once a week through the summer.

Thanks everyone.
I was attending a few classes here and there so might carry on with those but not go too heavy.
I have to be honest apart from wanting carbs I've completely lost my appetite. At the moment I'm just trying to graze as I can't really face full meals - haven't had any sickness yet but feel a bit nauseous and have a sinus infection so I can't really taste anything.

Is there an official pregnany exercise thread? I had a quick look over on exercise but couldn't find anything
