Have eaten M & S pre packed fruit salad throughout, as not on our forbidden list. However this morning I ate one and with in 30 mins have been feeling really sick. Not been sick yet, but keeps repeating on me and very nauseous. Now worrying about Listeria. It was in date til today, but did have bruised mango in it that I removed. Am I worrying over nothing. I am 33 weeks. Thanks

Probably nothing to do with the fruit, but if you start to feel really ill I'd seek help.

Pre packed fruit & veges can pose a risk during pregnancy...do as the pp said. Seek medical help if you get worse

Within 30 mins seems unlikely to be the fruit salad. Could be a bug. Ask midwife or GP for advice on phone.

WAY too fast to be listeria from the fruit salad. The incubation period ranges from 3-70 days.
Pre packed fruit and veg is not enough of a risk for the NHS to recommend avoiding it. The risk is tiny.

It seems a lot more likely that the acidic meal has given you some reflux.

Too fast. Also incredibly unlikely so its probably just coincidence

I've found that the mild nausea that I experienced in the first trimester has returned occasionally over the last fee weeks, am now 36+5. Some of the others on the May antenatal group have also had the same, so it could be that mild to feeling like they are going to be sick.

Thanks everyone. Think it was so similar to food poisoning that happened within half an hour of eating a chicken kiev, but was physically sick that the mind wanders. Was probably the acid on an empty stomach though I have been lucky so far with no nausea or reflux, but suppose it can catch you out. Will keep an eye out. Think the bruised mango through me in to worry.

Bruised fruit would have nothing to do with listeria don't worry
