Hello,
I don't know where I can go to get measured for a bra, does anybody know any department stores or wherever that do it ?ordered two bras different sizes and none of them fit, so desperately need a new bra.
Thanks

I'd go to either bravissimo or an independent lingerie boutique.

I was professionally trained in maternity fitting and it's so important to get the right bra in the right size. :)

Can't go wrong with Marks and Sparks....

applecore0317 · 30/04/2015 10:42

M&S, Debenhams, Mothercare and possibly House of Fraser

laurenlhthompson · 30/04/2015 10:44

Don't go to M&S.... Sorry there's nothing wrong with the bras but the fit is so so wrong. They put me in a 40C and I am a 34FF

applecore0317 · 30/04/2015 10:47

I think that depends on the person doing it or store lauren, My M&S have been brilliant and the fit has been right, wheras my local debenhams got it wrong and I wound up very uncomfortable for a few weeks

mumofmunchkin · 30/04/2015 10:47

Bravissimo, I've never had such comfy and we'll fitting bras. M&S and debenhams both told me I was a 36D, and I was generally uncomfortable, bravissimo sold me a 32F and it feels amazing!

Bluepetra · 30/04/2015 10:47

Ok, thank you very much.

Applecore, if you're comfortable and not having any problems then that's fine. M&S use a tape measure which is generally not an accurate way to fit a bra. I was trained in the same way as bravissimo to fit by eye and it makes a lot of difference.

sianihedgehog · 30/04/2015 18:02

Tbh, bra fitting is a total joke anyway - sizing varies so much between brands and styles that the only way to get a decent fit is to try on a few sizes in person.

TinyMonkey · 30/04/2015 19:43

M&S are utterly incompetent unless you get very lucky. John Lewis are the best imp.

John Lewis all the way the maternity bras I've got from them are great. Honestly I don't work for them (have posted this a few times)!

Chchchchanging · 01/05/2015 20:28

Bravissimo have always fitted me do well is wear I'd heads noob job ie they were in right place Wink

HelenF350 · 01/05/2015 20:40

Bravissimo all the way. You can't fit a bra by measurements, it just doesn't work.

HazleNutt · 01/05/2015 20:42

Bravissimo or if none nearby, John lewis. Not M&S or Mothercare, they use an outdated method that will put you in too big back and too small cup.

Bluepetra · 02/05/2015 00:15

Thank you, will get measured. Found Hotmilk site, they look nice bras.
