Shall I just cancel the gym now?

I'm 6w and had high hopes of continuing at the gym until my spd hits (had in both previous pregnancies, on crutches by 18w last time so it's inevitable). However, I've felt so rotten with nausea, tiredness and dizziness that ive not been for about 3w already. Is it really likely I'll be well again before the spd hits, or shall I save my money and cancel now?!

Is there a swimming pool you might want to use? Can you ask them to put your membership on hold? I did that went I was sent abroad to work.

I'd cancel it and spend the money on a very good women's health physio and/or a clinical pilates class that can help you offset/ manage the spd. If you're in London pm me and I can recommend somewhere...

i wasnt allowed to cancel my gym as I had a special 2 year contract. I havent been since I was 8 weeks due to be being knackered with work and a 18 month old. I plan to totally abuse (overuse) my membership once little man has popped out in 4 weeks time :)

Agree with flop, if it has a swimming pool keep going :) x

I can't do front crawl and breast stroke is super bad for hips! I know I should learn...

You've convinced me! If I suddenly get better I can do something, even if it's going for a jog.

Going back to the gym at 12 weeks really helped my spd - took physio advice first though
