Hi all,

I'm about 7 weeks and feel AWFUL. So much worse then I was with my first two - eldest was sick morning, noon and night, but felt great with my youngest.
However, I feel so rotten with this pregnancy. Not really been sick just constantly feeling nauseous, period-pain like stomach cramps, being shivering-cold even though to touch I feel really hot, back ache & just completely knackered. I'm actually scared something is wrong the way I feel so awful. Urgh.

Apparently ginger can help with the sickness. I'm 6w+3 and today is the first day of nausea. I dread the next 6 weeks.

Ok I've just had acupuncture and it is a miracle! This is my 4th pregnancy and I was ill throughout the whole of my 3rd :/
At the beginning of the week I was so sick I couldn't eat anything and was wasting away. Crying everyday because I was so fatigued I couldnt get out of bed without help and I was fit and healthy before! I was even starting to have panic attacks at the sheer vulnerability and helessness I felt.
I was willing to pay anything as I couldn't cope with it for much longer-well I would have had to but it was very very hard.
The acupuncture has taken off the edge and given me back my energy.
I can actually eat anything now and the nausea is comforted by eating but it's such mild nausea it feels normal!
I would totally recommend acupuncture-I'm having another session next week.
You can also get it on the Nhs with some doctors so always ask :)
Another tip is stay away from sweeteners, msg and any chemicals in food which trick the nerves as they will only exasperate your stress and low moods so check drinks and food labels. One more thing I found that magnesium is a key component in balancing our stress levels and when pregnant we don't absorb it enough in the way we live nowadays so a good magnesium oil spray for the body or floradix magnesium is also good in helping the nausea calm down!
Good luck everyone. Take my word you won't believe it til you try it xxx

Hey, this is just what i was looking for!! This is my 1st baby & I'm 11 weeks tomorrow! Week 9 was a killer for me, I had to take 2 days off work with pure exhaustion (I was in bed early too)! I was like a zombie!! Luckily I'm feeling a bit better now but still feel like I could sleep all day :) looking forward to the magical 12 week markGrinGrin it's so nice to know I'm not alone in this! All the girls at work are pretty young & not remotely interested in me moaning about how crap I feel! I hope everyone feels better soon xx

Thank you wonderful ladies, this is exactly what I needed, I also feel absolutely vile. My DP calls it the beige diet because I'm not eating anything in colour. We used to eat so well! I'm hoping it'll come back. I'm 8+4 and the tiredness is no where near as bad I'm still nauseous all day with intermittent foamy water vom. Sorry Tmi! Tried ginger, peppermint, nothing works other than eating and sometimes that doesn't work either.

We can do this ladies! We're made of strong stuff x
