I found out 2 weeks ago and am 5+3, due 9th Jan by own calculations. Been trying a while so know exactly when I ovulated and the deed that did it so I will be surprised if m/w gives me a different date.

I had my first experience of real nausea this morning, no actual sickness but felt like I really needed to. Also had some cramps. Can I use a hot water bottle at this stage or should I be weary of temperature?

how is everyone doing on keeping the secret? I have only told my mum so far and we are only going to tell DH's parents after our early scan which is booked for when I am 8+2. We are going to keep it a secret for as long as possible then. I'd like to get to 5 months without anybody knowing, not sure I will persuade Dh to do that though..

I have 10yo DC but it was such a long time ago that it all feels so new and scary... there seem to be so may more risks around these days...

Hi everyone! I just found out last weekend and am only 4 weeks but very excited!! I've been having tummy cramps too Glindathegoodwitch and read up about hot water bottles... We're only telling close family at the moment but it's so hard to keep it secret don't you think? I keep thinking I'm going to blurt it out by accident!

Hope you don't mind me joining! I'm 6 weeks today, due on 7th January. After being told I couldn't have anymore children as my pcos was so bad, this has come as a very happy shock!

Thank god I found this thread, really need to just shout somewhere I'M PREGNANT! So happy and excited, even more so as it is dc2 so I feel a bit more chilled out this time round and have mumsnet

I'm also shouting from the virtual rooftops!! No one knows except DH and I can't wait to tell everyone!
