What kind of bag are you going for?

Tbh I'm thinking of a rucksack style but wondering if anyone has a valuable piece of insight into them?

Not wanting anything massive so as to reduce the amount of crap that might find its way in

Cheers

Get a nappy wet bag to store nappies/ wipes/ mat in. Cost about £10-15.

Then you can put inside any rucksack or handbag you like and swap and change.

So buy a nice rucksack you like for comfort and style, and add the wetbag for practicality.

I have the BabyMule rucksack. It's fab. Expensive, but worth it to me. Wouldn't change a thing about it.

I just use a small carrier bag in a small rucksack i already had.

Rucksacks are good for the toddler stage when you want a light folding buggy. I preferred a hang off the pram type for when DD was little as it was more convenient not to carry it. I chose a plain denim one so DH would not feel too conspicuous carrying it. I liked to have a dedicated bag so I could keep it topped up in the hallway and just grab it and go.

I've got a handbag organiser that was going to use but now I've looked up those nappy wet bags I might make my own waterproof lined bag. Got loads of fabric kicking about!

And a lot of spare time to fill before baby comes need projects to stop me just eating loads

Thanks everyone

Oh forgot to say, the babymule has various straps which can all be cleverly hidden away. So it can hang on the pram as well as be a rucksack.

Another vote for the Baby Mule. Not actually used it yet but love it and know it will be used for years for trips out.

Hello,

I've had aout 52million changing bags in the last year. Started off with large tote style non-changing ones and added in some baby bits- mat, insulted bottle holder etc. Worked well for a while, as long as you find a bag with decent compartments.

Recently picked up one of these at the baby show:
www.amazon.co.uk/off-Colorland-Jennifer-Polka-Changing-Backpack/dp/B00KVDEVEW/ref=sr_1_3/275-0086554-4928374?m=A1CVRECGWQVNSS&s=baby&ie=UTF8&qid=1428875160&sr=1-3

I'm finding it really useful now DD is running around as it allows me to be hands free and balances the weight well. Not too pricey either.

Rucksacks are a godsend if you intend to use a sling, messenger type bags are a pita if you're running after an older child, but great for going over a pushchair handle.

The free one you can get in Boots when you buy some pampers is reasonable for an additional pushchair hanging bag.

Ooh mightymunki that bag looks fab.
The baby mule one looks HUGE!

tinymonkey I've had terrible back problems so think a rucksack safest option, still unsure of sling but don't want to rule it. But it's another reason for rucksack

I might just hit sports direct to get a cheapy one to trial use til it falls apart knowing me
