You should be fine. Have a seat on the couch and try to relax. If you're still worried, give your midwife or NHS24 a ring to get some reassurance.

Hope you're okay.

ilovecaboose · 01/11/2006 18:15

if you're worried phone nhs direct or midwife and ask them.

You'll probably be fine, but I'd check to be on safe side.

Hope your back stops hurting soon.

I actually fainted a few weeks ago. Was in bathroom and came to on landing. Baby was absolutely fine, it's just me that has suffered with back-ache since as I must have fallen backwards. Try not to worry but if you do just call your m/w or GP to put your mind at rest.

second what others have said - baby moving is a good sign according to the GP when I fell twice with dd2 - was carrying dd1 down our front steps when my legs went out from under me -w as on the way to antenatal appt anyway - they listened to heartbeat and asked me to keep an eye on movement. Same thing after I fell from a chair.

I fell flat on my face at 30 weeks, mostly landed on legs and elbows but partly on bump. Midwife said as long as there's no pain or bleeding and you can feel baby moving, there's probably no cause for alarm but go and get scanned if you really want to. The hospital won't turn you away if you're worried about it. The only thing she was worried about was that I am D negative blood and I should have had an anti-D injection to overcome any shock, but as I'd actually had the injection the day before she didn't worry about it.

you should be fine julezboo - just sit down and relax.

i slipped over at work at 34 weeks pregnant and dislocated my sacroileac joint had to have it "Pulled" back in a week later. Baby was absolutely fine though
