Leaking!

So, it's started: leaky nipples at night.

How does one deal with this?! I don't have any non-wired bras to wear for bed and I think I'm too early to be buying nursing bras (I'm 32 weeks, and everything I've seen says to wait until nearer 37ish weeks in case your boobs carry on growing).

I don't know whether to get a non-wired bra now to put me on the next few weeks, so I can wear pads at night, but my boobs are already around an E/F so the only place I can think to go is Bravissimo, which is a little pricey.

So... Does anyone know of anywhere to get a cheapish night bra for now, or a better way to deal with it?

Got a pack of nightwear bras from mother care in a 2 pack. Very reasonably priced and not normal bra sizes just small medium large. I'm a D and got a medium and fits really well and very comfy!

Bah! Me too. I got some stretchy bra top things from Tu at sainsburys - about £6 or £7 each, supportive enough at night time, can hold breast pads in and stretchy to accommodate growth! Can pull down easily to nurse so hoping will be useful then too. Good luck!

Those sound like good ideas, thanks!

I'm nipping out for a couple of bits tomorrow so will check out the Mothercare bras. I don't even need them to fit properly really, just something to hold pads in place!

If you buy a soft cup nursing style now it will most likely for you 3 months or so after birth as your supply settles and your boobs shrink (no guarantees, mind).

Bravado do good crop top style bras which are good in general for nighttimes. I would think if you're leaking now you're likely to leak laters too so would need something to sleep in (and hold breast pads in place) after baby comes anyway.

You might find you're small enough for the supermarket brand ones.

I bought a sports style crop top type thing from yours clothing when my blobs were really sore in early pregnancy. Think that'd work.

M&S have cheap non-underwired bras in larger sizes, I bought a couple early on for sleeping in as I had quite sore boobs at the beginning.

Otherwise do you have an old sportsbra you could wear where the elastic is perhaps not so tight? Or get someof those vest tops with the built in support (again M&S often has cheap ones).
