Was sent for a scan (I'm 34+2) after a 3rd episode of reduced movement and discovered baby girl has flipped into breech after weeks of being head down.
Also noted no weight gain and minimal growth since last scan 2 weeks ago ... and having been discharged by consultant last week we are now back under his care as high risk!
Trace and scan show baby is active ... been booked for a fluid scan next week and a growth scan the following at 36 weeks ... my placenta is anterior high and her but is in pelvis ... she seems rather comfortable though I'm not!! Why wait until 34 weeks to suddenly flip?? nyone else had this??

How do you know she was head down is it what you were told by the midwives feeling your stomache?
I had a scan at 25 and 5 which showed that baby was breach , then after all the way up to 40+2 I was told he had flipped and was head down even his head was engaged , long story short my waters broke went to hospital to be told he was indeed breach and chances are he had been that way for the entire time.

I've had regular scans to check growth and cord flow ... baby has always been head down on them at 24, 28 and 32 weeks

I had this with ds he flipped at 36 weeks I felt him do it during an antenatal class! He had been head down for weeks as I had been in and out of hospital with raised blood pressure/ protein in urine so had had so many people saying he was head down! A growth scan ( he was measuring small too) confirmed he was breech and due to blood pressure etc they didn't want to turn him. He was delivered by c section at 39 weeks. He weighed 5.10lb and has been a little monkey ever since!

I do think being a smaller baby may contribute as they still have room to move whereas larger babies wouldn't. I hope all goes well in the next few weeks
