just wondering if any of you have felt the belly above the scar? I know it's still numb but I had a feel around yday and felt bumpy lumps and hard spots and God obsessed and kept prodding and poking it and well now my belly is sore! Has anyone else got these lumpy things :(

Depends how long ago you had your section, although my friend still has numb spots five years on. I had one 14 weeks ago and still have about an inch of numbness above my scar and a hard ridge. Doesn't hurt at all though.

11 weeks ago and yeah it's only numb there for me too but that's where I've noticed these bumps or lumps or whatever they are ! It's not been painful until I've been prodding it a lot, stupid of me really

6 months ago and I still feel a little tender and lumpy. I had a big lumpy bit on particular that has now gone. All part of the healing but if you're concerned see your gp.

Ahh ok good to know it's not unusual I'm abit of a worrier and have been to my gp wayy too much lately I was going to go tomorrow with a same day appointment but now I'm thinking that if it's still bugging my next week i will definatly go

Hi Op, I had a few lumps and bumps but they go. 14 months on and my scar just looks like a natural bikini line. No lumps no bumps and all feeling has returned. As someone above said. It's all part of the healing process. Although the more you pock at it, the longer this process will take. Don't forget you had internal and external stitches.

Make an appointment with you GP if you are really worried.

OP, are the lumps painful or sore? You may have haematomas, but these should eventually be reabsorbed by your body.

I have two but 6 weeks on, they're definitely heaps better than they were. I also have significant numbness, but again much better than it was!

They aren't sore I only found them by rummaging around and pressing in ther
