About to purchase a sleepyhead and I have come across another product to add to the confusion...the Purflo baby nest. it looks much the same and it's half the price - very tempting!

I would love to hear any thoughts/experiences?

Thanks!

Sorry i only have sleepyhead! I do like it though!!

We're going to be going for the Sleepyhead as we're buying it off my DSis who is 9 months ahead of me!
The purflo looks interesting, although hadn't heard of it till just now! However, it says for 0-4 months, whereas Sleepyhead is 0-8 months, and it doesn't seem to have the (what look like) useful carry handles on the purflo.

So maybe the price differential is about how much time you'd get out of it...

We had Sleepyheads for the DTs, and now they have the Grandes. I'd recommend getting a Clevamama mattress protector and putting one of those and a cot bed fitted sheet over it though to protect it. The resell value is decent too. We sold them on eBay for £80 each (incl a replacement cover)

I've never heard of the Purflo. We're looking at getting a Sleepyhead though I think.

Thank you! Looks like it might still be a sleepyhead ??

Recommend the poddle pod. Much cheaper than the sleepyhead, is bigger so lasts longer and is perfect for squishy newborns. You can then upgrade to the toddle pod

Bought a sleepyhead - baby sleeps 12 hours a night by 10 weeks!

Hi All, I just thought I would add to the confusion lol. I bought the PurFlo nest for a friend and she loves it...bonus that it was half the price of Sleepyhead too! She has invested in a spare cover for it so now she has one to wash and one to wear (handy when it comes to sicky newborns). I wish they had these when my two were little ones. I know it says on the packaging 0-4 months but my friends baby is 5 months and is still happy in it...maybe its just a guideline and depends on how long your child is?? Plus I think it's larger than the Sleephead. My friend has been using it for baby to nap in but also for tummy time; because the base is a breathable mesh she doesn't have to worry too much if baby face plants lol. Anyway good luck with choosing. x

Thank you BBE!
It seems new so there are barely any reviews... the price is attractive (!) and it looks more comfortable and sturdy that the sleepyhead?

I was wondering today if there was a cheaper option than a sleepyhead so thanks to this thread I searched for the purflo, and amazon showed me the babymoov cosysleep as an alternative product - looks good and cheaper again! Has anyone tried it?
