Just wondering which changing bag you've got / used when you had your baby?
And where did you get it from :)

I have a Storksak Lucinda in turquoise. A bit of an indulgence but seeing as it's going to be my handbag too I decided to splash out.

Yes zebra that was my thinking.

And to the poster that asked "will I really need all of those extra pockets?" maybe not at first, when you're newborn baby sleeps most of the time and you are fairly organised but when that baby is rolling and standing and walking (not as far away as you think) sometimes you need to know exactly, and I mean exactly where that dummy/bonjela/teething powder/sudacrem/nappy bags/comforter/wipes/snacks/bib/spare vest is.

Because you can guarantee the one you need because baby has just had a poo explosion or hunger tantrum will be right at the bottom and you'll have to shift through everything else first.
Pockets.. yes!!!

I had a Babymule which was brilliant as it can be both a backpack (for when you're using a sling), a handbag (comes with a long strap) and attached to the pram (comes with hoops for hooking up to pram handle). It has a bottle warmer and a wetbag too.

Think it was around £80 so not cheap, but definitely worth it.

I have a very pretty messenger style bag that I got £10 from a market stall in town. It is absolutely fab and has lasted alot longer than my red kite changing bag I panick bought in asda. It's wipe down on the outside and has lots of handy pockets. I will definitely be using it for the next one too :)

You do need the pockets!!! It makes it so much easier. Also if you are bottle feeding some have insulated bottle pockets too.

I previously had Oi Oi and Yummy Mummy change bags. Loved both and they sold well on eBay.

I have a grey leather Storksak Caroline, I wanted one that looked like a normal handbag. I hate all the twee pink ones with cupcakes on but each to their own!

I have a Pink Linings 'Twice as Nice' bag for my DTSs
Plenty of room, pockets, side bottle holders, key pocket, zipped pocket on front and back & it looks pretty! Even though I have sons, I wanted the bag to be for me not them so space & attractiveness justified the £cost. I'm not sure my DP is so keen when he carries it but then he knew better than to suggest a rucksack to me! Wink

I had a Kate Spade leather one with DS1 for day to day and a pacapod for flights.
DS2 I just used the pacapod when he was tiny and for travelling but am using a big tote bag for when we fly tomorrow. I've found it easier to have a more open bag as they've gotten older so I can rummage around one handed (whilst pinning said child down with the other) rather than having to fuss with zippers on pods etc.
