Extreme fatigue & muscle ache

Hi I'm 29 weeks pregnant & over the last few days I've gone from being active to taking several 2-3 hour naps during the day & sleeping most of the night too. The muscles in my arms & legs also feel like dead weights. The extreme fatigue feels crazy. I'm off work this week, but dreading next week if I still feel like this. Has anyone else experienced this type of fatigue?-& how long did it last? Many thanks

Yes but I just thought it was all part of pregnancy until I had a blood test and was diagnosed with anaemia. Was put on a course of iron tablets and had more vitamin c in my diet which seemed to do the trick. I was around 32 weeks when it was picked up

Thanks for the advice. So far blood tests are normal. I'll just ask my midwife again this week & try get on with things til then

I'm 29 week too. Iv been extremely tired and can't even stand up washing a few pots without my legs killing me. My bloods have been fine through my pregnancy then last week they tested and told me I was borderline anaemic.

I would ask for your ferritin levels to be checked my HB was fine but iron stores were rock bottom. I had an iron infusion and felt amazing.

Have you had your thyroid levels checked? - TSH and free T3/T4? I don't mean to scare you, but I had extreme tiredness from about 25 weeks with DS2 and it didn't end well. With my subsequent pregnancy I got diagnosed with Hashimotos thyroiditis, which quite likely initially developed during my second pregnancy.
