Moving house... help!

Has anyone coped with a house move when pregnant and suffering severe sickness?

My partner and I recently found a lovely house, booked removal companies and are moving in together in a few weeks. Delaying the move isn't an option (due to problems with neighbours) but I'm panicking over how I'll manage it with HG. I'm on Diglecis, Stemetil and Cyclazine but still vomiting throughout day and have no energy. The thought of packing, supervising removal men, making the journey and then unpacking is overwhelming! My partner will be there to help on the day, but once the move is over he'll be away on a business trip for 3 weeks so I'll be unpacking and settling in on my own.

I'm also worried about finding a new GP, new midwife, choosing new hospital, booking 12-week-scan etc (I'm 9 weeks now).

Anyone got any tips?

I'm due to do the same in a few weeks but will be 28+ weeks and have SPD/PGP so my issues will be more to do with not being able to help at all.
In your situation, hopefully the hg will have eased a little in a few weeks-you're in the horrible time when it feels impossible but for a lot of people it does ease. Assuming it's better, you can supervise and pack light things away into boxes but no lifting. I've been able to sort, chuck and pack a lot of stuff over the last few months as we've known we will be moving since October and although u get tired and my back aches if I'm sat down bending over it is possible to do little bits. Failing that, either get your OH to help, rope in all family and friends you can find (I currently have my dad and his OH upstairs painting) and let the removal men do what they're paid for.
Once you get to the new place, there is no rush to unpack everything and if it has to wait until you have help/after you've given birth then so be it. Keep the essentials in the same boxes so you know you only have to unpack them and label all of the others with specifics of what is in them so if you do need something you know which box it is in.
And finally, changing GP/hospital etc is relatively easy. If you're moving in a few weeks you will have has your 12 weeks scan and have your maternity notes so you can just take them to your first GP appointment which you could try to book before you even move.

Good luck. You're moving nice and early which will make it much easier as long as your hg eases up. If you're still being sick despite all the medications, your OH needs to do it all with help from anyone you can get and definitely sod the unpacking until he can do it

Thanks for reassurance :-)
That's good advice, especially re packing/unpacking bit by bit and keeping essentials in one box for easy access.
And yes hopefully the HG might ease up by then... hard to imagine when you're in the middle of it but I've heard things often improve around 12-14 weeks.
