Normal to have a reprieve from needing toilet ALL the time?

Currently 19wks + 2 with twins and up until 5 days ago I was needing the toilet every single hour on the hour, including often waking up in the middle of the night to wee!

Now I seem to have gone back to the normal bladder function of pre-pregnancy! Four times a day at most with just voluntary visits in between.

Is it normal to have this kind of break in toilet needs? I was always told by midwife before that my hydration was great, haven't changed anything since that point. Just wanting to check things like how much water you need to drink etc aren't changing and that it's all good

Can be,especially at your stage as a change in position can make a massive difference.I would imagine with twins though they will soon run out of available spaces again and you'll be back to it!
Congratulations by the way!!

Yeah it's normal, mine comes and goes in phases. At one point I was up 5-6 times in the night!

It can be yes, enjoy it while it lasts ;)
If you're at all worried then give your MW a ring for some reassurance.

I've only got one in there, but I have definitely been peeing less - sometimes completely forgetting and only remembering after hours!

It's happened in all of my pregnancies and returns with a vengeance after 30 weeks.

18+2 here

Ah that's fantastic, very reassuring, thanks guys!
It only dawned on me this morning how little I've needed to visit the bathroom of late. Not complaining though, I'll enjoy this break while it lasts!!

Yes' in first trimester uterus is low, next to bladder slowly sneezing it. Second trimester your uterus rises into abdomen so it temporarily relieves bladder pressure. As you approach third trimester the pressure will resume, along with regular toilet visits!

I imagine your timescales might be different as its twins. Enjoy it while you can!
