Have a friend who's also expecting - due almost the same time as me (well actually she's not a 'friend' - she's an 'acquaitance' - she's been for an early scan due to some bleeding and cramping - everthing is fine but she got a shock and discovered it's twins (she's already got a DD). Anyhow, she's absolutely convinced she's felt tiny little 'butterflies' like those first early movements already (she's 7+5) - I'm not so sure........

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I didn't - I think it was nearly 20 weeks before I felt mine (despite seeing them leaping around on numerous scans before that stage).

She reckons she felt her first move at around 15 weeks - I know I felt DS1 at about 18 weeks, and DS2 about 12 weeks....but surely not 7/8 weeks???? I thought it was probably wind - but didn't dare say that to her LOL.

probably wind.

highly highly unlikely! wouldn;t twins be smaller and lighter and therefore less likely to be felt earlier!!!!!

I guess it depends on where the placenta is implanted - but I would not htink they are big enough to feel moving so early.

I have felt movements that feel like a baby - and I wasn't even pregnant ! I would be wind as well - but would leave her to her delusions - not worth upsetting her - she is probably mentally unbalanced by being told twins anyway - so be gentle with her
