Will try apples, thanks.

Sparkling water works just as well if you mix it with some squash, as I discovered when I got completely bored of drinking it!

Usually use gaviscon when reflux is bad but tried coconut water yesterday (heard it was good on here) when I had mild reflux and it worked, surprisingly. Going to try that again, coconut water is much tastier than gaviscon. No idea why it would work though.

Apparently almonds can help too.

Don't worry about Rennies and gaviscon though. They're widely recommended and prescribed so can't imagine there's any danger. The indigestion tends to get worse as your bump gets bigger unfortunately.

I've had reflux for some years and by a process of elimination I have identified wheat and yeast as the culprits. I know now by looking at a food if itll give me acid. Pre-pregnancy I could sneak more bread into my diet but now I actually makes me vomit.
I find Airwaves chewing gum helps, so can Coke, extra strong mints and weirdly, apples. I always sit upright and stay seated after meals.

Thanks, all. Well, I avoided onions and spicy food, and mint tea yesterday, and no acid reflux. Hurray!

I have just had some wheat, so we will see if that affects me.

Milkshake helps me I use the powders stuff and add to milk keeps it at bay for me.
As soon as I eat or drink something that isn't milk it's back!

I liked Refreshers - the sweets. It was a tip I got on here. They taste better than Gaviscon tablets.

Mint, chocolate onions are big no-nos for acid reflux!
