What's everyone's views?

If all is well in pregnancy and you don't get told not too, I don't see the problem with it.

A few oh DH's friends (male and female some who have kids) think it is completely disgusting.

mine on the other hand thunk it's okay up to a certain point (all have different opinions on when this is)

number3 I know what you mean it's strange in my opinion I just don't understand the problem. due to DH work hours and me being tired we have it a few times a week. I couldn't imagine not having it. We have had to readjust positions to make it more accommodating for the huge football in me, but I think it makes it more interesting tbh

30 weeks pregnant and doing it as often as before, getting a bit more tricky position wise and it does feel a bit different recently but not planning on stopping unless something medical comes up. I couldn't go 9 months without but have a high sex drive and lucky my partner tells me he finds me very sexy stillSmile

Me and DP have still been DTD all through this pregnancy, I'm now 32 weeks, he gotta it scared once I started showing but after showing him stuff online to back up my "it's really ok" he's been happy to keep going, tho the further on I get the less frequent it is (to my disappointment) and it's been very basic compared to normal but good all the same! Think he sees how tired etc I am and doesn't want to bother me and doesn't seem to take the hint as much from me lol

25 weeks & we do it just as often, if not more!

The only reasons people are told not to afaik is that it can irritate the cervix and/or trigger stronger braxton hicks, both of which should be avoided if you're already having problems or have a high risk pregnancy.

Anyway, you're supposed to exercise your pelvic floor, and a midwife once told me orgasm was the best pelvic floor exercise there is!

My husband won't do it since he saw OBEM and the midwife told the dad to be that she could feel the baby's head with her hand. It freaked him out and now he's worried he will hit the baby....no matter what I say! He is normally an intelligent and rational man so this has come as a shock. I am only 18 weeks though so he may change his mind yet :)

I dont understand it either but oh well....obviously the stork comes along and just drops a baby in your lap (if only it were that simple)
