Iv got total baby brain and can't seem to focus! Iv packed my little suitcase and bag last night and wanted to make sure I hadn't missed anything, so here's what I have and I apologize for the list!

4x nighties for me.
Maternity pads and breast pads
Nipple cream
Toiletries (showergel, toothpaste, hairbrush etc etc)
A towel
Fluffy socks
Phone charger
A bag of change just incase
Leggings + top to come home in

5x vests and grows in newborn size
Hooded towel
Pack of nappies and wipes
Socks and scratch mits
Blanket
Coming home outfit
Bibs

I cant remember what I packed with my first almost 4 years ago, but I remember staying in hospital for 6 days and my other half bringing me supplies because I packed for a night or two at most.

Thanks ladies!

Change for car parking! I know some places will have it that you can pay at the end but some of the smaller ones are pay and display :-)

Re formula it's worth checking if your hospital provides it, mine did 2 years ago but have now stopped and ask you to take in your own and bottles.
I've bought a ready made big bottle of sma and am going to take a couple of feeding bottles for her, I'm assuming they can sterilise them in between as they can't expect people to take sterilisers in too!
I know some brands inc SMA do those little bottles that you can simply add a screw on teat to but I'm not sure where you buy them.

We're using cow and gate again if formula feeding. can only find the regular ready made stuff, nothing with a test. Dont the large bottles need to be kept in a fridge after opening?

I can always take my little cold water sterolizer I got with my pump, it'll fit two bottles in and all I'll need is water. Apparently bottles stay sterile for 24 hours in the solution.

I'm in hospital next week so will definitely ask!

Chap stick I always find my lips get dry in hospital.

Ear plugs and eye mask for the post natal ward. Didn't have them for no 1, but high on my list for no 2...

I would definitely bring an ipod, or something that you can play music with, just to try and relax a bit more. Maybe a book in case you get bored afterwards? Dressing gown in case you want to be comfy, or go somewhere, or....whatever reason?

E-cigarettes are pretty much treated like normal cigarettes, and you can't really smoke them anywhere indoors. No idea why.

It would be much easier if your partner brought some nicotine gum instead, which saves him from having to go anywhere.
