Hi all,
I'm 34 weeks and for the last 2 days baby has hardly moved compared to normal. I went in yesterday and was monitored and heart beat was fine but she only moved twice while being monitored but they were happy which calmed s a bit. All day today she has barely moved again, so I went back in and explained the situation again was monitored again and heartbeat was fine but again she only moved once during the monitoring. They seemed happy that all was fine but normally she is so active and even when she has a quiet day, she will make up for it the following day. We have come home but I am strating to worry again but not sure what else they will/can do if I go back in. They did tell me to go back tomorrow if she is still not moving as much but I feel like I should be doing something now. Does anyone have experience of what else they can do or what I can insist on having done? I am quite happy to stamp my feet if necessary, I just dont know what to expect or insist on. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. xx

Bambi07 for some reason they attach the trace to maternity notes here now ... I thought it unusual too! Glad all ok with you too ... its so easy to advise others yet put off doing the same thing yourself lol ... We are a mad lot x

I don't have PKU myself but I run a fb group (DH has PKU) so do the occasional mm search in case there are parents with newly diagnosed babies that might need help.

Glad to hear you're 34 weeks. You must've worked so hard to keep your levels down. You've done so well. Not long to go.

Ah yes, I owe you a big thank you for recommending that FB group it has been a real help and have met some people locally with PKU and who are also pregnant. Thank you, thank you Flowers xx

Balckwidow I know exactly what you mean, I read threads about movement and always think/advise to phone and go in, yet I waited hours. I wont do it again though, it has been a stressful few days. xx
