38 + 3 baby OP - any tips for moving he/she round?

Hi, Have just been to see midwife who tells me that my baby is 3/5ths down but lying with his/her back to my back which can make for a long, drawn out labour (yuck!). As my DS was born by CS at 38wks due to being breech I'm really glad my consultant has said I can have a shot at a natural birth however, not keen on the long, drawn out bit (who would be...). My MW has suggested sitting a chair cowboy style and leaning forward as well as lying on my left side. Does anybody else have any other suggestions?

scrubbing floors is supposed to help

google optimal foetal positioning - and get down on hands and knees

sit on a gym ball a lot!

my baby was op all the way , 3/5engaged but turned during labour and out like a shot - and this was a vbac!

op baby doesn't mean c section, might have a longer labour, but stay as active as you can in the first stage ( at home as long as you can!)

listen to how your body is telling you to move when in labour and go for it!

Another vote for scrubbing floors.

Worked for me when having dd. And gor nice clean floors at the same time too....just a distant memory now as the knees of her tights can testify

She did go back to back tho
